Founded in December 2015, InnoSec is a silicon-based gallium nitride chip integrated manufacturing company dedicated to using advanced, efficient, and low-cost silicon-based gallium nitride technology to help the construction of high-efficiency energy systems in the new era. It covers an area of 368 acres and is a key project in Jiangsu Province. The total investment in the first phase is expected to be RMB 8 billion. After completion, it will become the world's largest third-generation semiconductor industry chain R&D and production platform integrating R&D, design, epitaxial production, chip manufacturing, and testing.
It is understood that the production capacity of InnoSec's Suzhou Gallium Nitride production base will gradually climb after its commissioning on June 5, and the production capacity will reach 6,000 pieces/month by the end of 2021. After the project is fully put into production at the end of 2022, the Suzhou plant will achieve an annual production capacity of 780,000 pieces. 8-inch silicon-based gallium nitride wafers are expected to have an annual output value of 15 billion yuan, with profits and taxes exceeding 1.5 billion yuan.
